This was a book that I could hardly put down after I started reading it.
You know those times that God puts a book in your hands and it just happens to collide with something you’re going through at the moment, that you’ve been praying a lot about? This week was one of those times for me.
There are things I’ve been praying about for months, and God answered many of my prayers and questions as I read through this.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who has experienced any kind of trauma in their life! This book is touching and so important, especially in today’s dysfunctional world. This book will encourage you, help you, challenge you and give you Hope.
Thank you, Paula Jauch for your obedience to God’s call on your life and for writing this book. Your story about how God has transformed you is so powerful!
Hi. I’m 13 years old! I just finished reading your book and it was truly amazing and helped me so much. I can relate to your story so much! When I was younger I was abused emotionally and sometimes physically. I thought I could never be loved or enough! and I blamed a lot of it on myself. about 2 years ago I got adopted! I am so very grateful! I still carry around the hurt, and pain, and a lot of grief! I think I am slowly healing but it is taking a lot of time! So. thank you very much for writing your book! It has helped me a lot.
Healing from our wounds and finding freedom from our addictions is not easily accomplished, as some people mistakenly promise us. It takes time to heal. There are no quick fixes. And it will take a lot more than just behavior change. Any permanent change has to start by allowing Jesus to heal your heart. I wrote these devotionals to help you on your path to recovery from trauma and addiction.
